Rates
For clients using insurance, rates vary depending on your insurance plan. Please call us for an estimate of your cost and to see if your insurance is accepted by our provider. All rates are for 60 minute sessions.
For self-pay clients, our out-of-pocket rate is $120 per session with sliding scale options for financial hardship.

Cancellation/Missed Appointment Policy
Your comfort and stress levels are very important to us. We aim to provide a variety of methods for contacting us to cancel or reschedule your appointment in order to avoid cancellation fees. Appointment reminders texts and emails are sent two days before your scheduled session. You can also login to the client portal to view your upcoming appointments.
• Local Realism requires 24 hours notice* to cancel your appointment.
• If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify Local Realism immediately via phone call, text, or email. Call/text 360-217-9125 or email support@localrealism.com to cancel your appointment.
• If you are unable to reach us over the weekend, you can still send a text or leave a voicemail. As long as the message is sent 24 hours before your appointment, you will not be charged.
• If you cancel or miss your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you will receive one “free pass”. After your one free pass, a cancellation fee of $90 will be charged to your card on file. Please note that insurance does not cover cancellation fees. If we can find an alternative appointment time for you in the same week, we will not utilize the free pass or charge a cancellation fee.
*Please be aware that the one “free pass” is not available for clients who have sessions on a monthly basis. If you are having sessions on a monthly basis and you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice or miss an appointment, a cancellation fee of $90 will be charged to your card on file.
*Please be aware that if 50 percent or more of your scheduled sessions are canceled within any 3-month period, even with 24 hours' notice, we may need to remove your recurring time slot reservation. Should this occur, you would then be required to schedule your counseling sessions on an individual, session-by-session basis. Given the high demand for our services and the current waitlist, it is essential that we prioritize clients who can maintain a consistent attendance.
